Need technical opening CD Rom for a GPS car navigation system.?
I have a C310x car navigation system manufactured by Mio Technology Limited, www.mio-tech.com. The system itself works fine. My problem is that I can not open the CD that came with the system which contains MioMaps, User Manual and MioTransfer. I can open other CD’s on my computer. My daughter can open the CD on her laptop. The CD is 1.19 GB, 223 files, 18 folders. My computer has 13 GB free out of a total of 18 GB available. I’ve also tried to dowload the info from the web site, but after running for a few hours I get a message that Microsft couldn’t download it. Any ideas?
Because the disk is 1.19 GB in size, I believe you are actually trying to read a DVD. Check to see if your daughter has a combo DVD-CD reader on her system. Most CD’s are about 600 MB when loaded.
